No, no one has asked me about C/A. Excuse me, I need to cease to be a person while I write this.

This is my OTP to end all OTPs. I will never love a ‘ship like I love this ‘ship. Which is good, because I really like being a person.

Ugh, how can I write coherently about these two? They’re just… perfect. Everything, the construction from acquitances, to friends, to best friends, to being in love it’s just always perfect. They are also the narrative of the series. Because the series is Angel’s narrative and Angel and Cordelia’s relationship is a huge part of Angel’s narrative. And that narrative manages not to consume either one which is amazing considering these writers. They have their separate stories, they just entwine together perfectly.

They are just so combatible. Being combatible is very important for me in a ‘ship. And they complement each other so flawlessly it’s amazing.  Their flaws and strengths overlap perfectly. I know I keep saying ‘perfect’ but they just are so perfect that I can’t think of another word for them.

It helps that both characters are so amazing separatively. Angel is my favorite character ever and someone I relate to way too much. And I would like to be more like Cordelia. And they are both incredibly hot. DB is physically my ideal man and Charisma is how I wish I looked like. It’s fun watching to incredibly hot people being hot together :).

This ‘ship also gives me all the feelings. ALL THE FEELINGS!!!! Even though they never got to be together as an actual couple, I think the series gives us a great picture what that would be like. They also have the ‘ready made family’ trope (I don’t know if it is an actual trope) which is one of my favorites. We saw every part of their relationship except officially being together and I love that. I love every step and it crushes my heart in all the right ways that we couldn’t see the last step. Because they live in a tragedy, not a romantic comedy.

They are tragic, but not in a silly, teenage star crossed lovers way. They couldn’t be together because the mission is what matters most. (Excuse me, I need to go sobbing in a corner)

OK, I’m back. They make me go through a full spectrum of emotions over the course of 8 seasons and that is amazing. The time spend on this ‘ship is amazing (I need a thesaurus). The amount of history there…

There are just so many things I could say about this ‘ship but mostly I just want to flail around and make inhumanly noises of happiness and sadness. Weep for joy and sob in a corner in grief.

The only way I could do justice to my feelings would be if I did a rewatch and wrote down all my feelings.
